Council for International Relations & Diplomacy Desk Report: Day 3 of European engagement sees strategic partnership take shape in Ballerup
World Trade Center Mumbai’s ongoing European engagement reached a significant milestone on Day 3, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with World Trade Center Ballerup, marking a new chapter in India–Denmark business cooperation.

The MOU was formally signed by Ms. Henriette Bjerg Persson, CEO & Director of World Trade Center Ballerup, and Mr. Ib Henrik Rønje, Founder, Owner & Managing Director of Kongeegen A/S and Co-Owner of World Trade Center Ballerup. The agreement is expected to open new channels for trade facilitation, business matchmaking, and institutional collaboration between the two WTC chapters.
Following the signing, delegates came together for a networking lunch that provided a platform for candid conversations and relationship-building. The gathering allowed business leaders and representatives from both sides to explore practical avenues for collaboration, laying informal groundwork alongside the day’s formal proceedings.

The MOU adds to a growing list of engagements marking WTC Mumbai’s European outreach, reinforcing its position within the global World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) network. Officials on both sides described the partnership as a meaningful step toward long-term, sustained cooperation between Indian and Danish enterprises.
With this agreement, WTC Mumbai continues to build bridges across borders — connecting businesses, institutions, and people committed to shared economic growth.
